Interestingly, the book's original Hebrew title, Tehillim, and the English title "Psalms," which comes from the Greek, both mean "songs of praise," reflecting the joyful and worshipful nature of this beloved book.

Join us at Temple Baptist Church for "The Gospel Primer," a study focused on reminding ourselves of the power of the Gospel not only for salvation but for living every day. God's gospel is a daily gift that provides all we need for life and godliness, empowering Christians to walk in freedom and have victory in daily life. This study will help you preach the gospel to yourself and see the amazing difference it can make in your life.

Engaged and newly married couples are invited to join our small group study, "Tying the Knot," for a practical guide to building a strong and lasting marriage. A Christ-centered marriage is a blessing to both spouses and a powerful example to the world of Christ's love for His church. This study offers a hopeful and actionable vision by teaching couples how to keep Jesus at the center of problem-solving, communication, finances, and intimacy.
