Secret Church is a unique, one-night event streamed to tens of thousands of participants around the world. Inspired by the "underground" church in nations where the Gospel is restricted, we gather for six hours of intense, deep-dive Bible study and passionate prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters.
This isn’t your typical church service. It’s a fast-paced, narrative-driven experience designed to challenge your faith and equip you with a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
This year, Secret Church takes a dramatic dive into the life of the prophet Elijah.
Told in four cinematic chapters, the teaching will carry us through the highs and lows of Elijah’s life—from standing alone before kings and calling down fire from heaven, to battling despair in the silence of the wilderness. We will explore what it means to have a courageous, resilient faith in hard places, weaving Elijah's story together with real-time reports of the Gospel’s advance in Nepal.
Deep Bible Study: Led by David Platt, we will cover massive amounts of Scripture in a single night.
Global Prayer: We will spend time in guided prayer for the persecuted church and unreached people groups.
The Journal: Every participant receives a Guided Scripture Journal to use during the event and keep for future study.
Community: Gather with our church family to dive deeper into the Word than ever before.
We are gauging interest to see how many journals and resources we need to order for our group. Whether you are 100% in or just want more information, please let us know!
Cost: Estimated $14 (final cost based on the number of participants) includes your Guided Scripture Journal.
Is it really 6 hours? Yes! It is modeled after the underground church meetings in Asia and the Middle East where believers meet for hours at a time because the Word is so precious and their time together is limited.
Do I need to be a Bible scholar? Not at all. The teaching is intense but designed to be accessible to anyone with a hunger to learn.
Is there an age limit? We recommend this event for high school students and adults due to the length and depth of the study.
